The AURWEN ARW-500 is a heavy-duty automatic swing door operator designed for demanding hinged-door applications. Its compact 610 mm operator housing, 24 V DC drive motor and selectable push or pull arm make it suitable for a broad range of commercial and specialist entrances.

The ARW-500 operator measures 610 mm long, 128 mm high and 88 mm deep, providing heavy-duty performance in a streamlined surface-mounted housing.
Door weight and width selection
The maximum supported door weight decreases as the door leaf becomes wider. As a preliminary selection guide based on the supplied performance curve, a 0.7 m door corresponds to approximately 500 kg, 0.8 m to 400 kg, 0.9 m to 300 kg, 1.0 m to 230 kg, 1.1 m to 185 kg, 1.2 m to 145 kg, 1.3 m to 120 kg and 1.4 m to 100 kg.
These values are approximate readings from the product performance curve. Final suitability must be confirmed according to the actual door size, weight, hinge condition, wind pressure, opening direction and installation environment.
Push-arm and pull-arm options
The ARW-500 can be configured with either a push arm or a pull arm to match the door opening direction and mounting position.
The pull arm is typically selected when the operator is installed on the pull side of the door. It provides a clean appearance and suits mounting geometry where the arm can pull the door leaf open.
The push arm is typically selected when the operator is installed on the push side of the door. Its articulated structure accommodates the required pushing movement and installation offset.

Control and access options
